Computing Fiction Books Exist!
(And They Are Really, Really Good!)
Integrating literacy into lessons can be a challenge at the best of times, and it often is not an ideal fit for the Computing subject. However, there are a handful of fiction books that are specifically aimed at computing enthusiasts!
As well as catering for computing students, the following books could also be used to possibly grab the interest of the more creative and literary minded student who have not fully embraced the joys of computing!

Computational Fairy Tales by Jeremy Kubica – an absolute favourite
Hi Nikki. Yep it’s a favourite of mine as well! Hello Ruby is equally as excellent and I find a great way to get my students reading, I highly recommend!
